Who IOP is for
IOP is designed for clients who have achieved initial stability — through detox or residential — and are ready to re-engage with daily life while maintaining a high level of clinical support. It's also an entry point for clients whose severity, support systems, and circumstances make a higher level of care unnecessary. Work, family, school: you keep them. You also keep your treatment.
Schedule options
We offer morning cohorts (typically 9am–12pm) and evening cohorts (typically 6pm–9pm), three or five days per week. You select the schedule that works for your life. Most IOP clients attend three evenings per week; some prefer five mornings. Both tracks cover the same curriculum and clinical quality.
What happens in IOP
Each session includes group therapy, skill-building, and peer community time. Individual therapy sessions happen weekly outside of group hours. Family sessions happen monthly by default and more frequently when clinically indicated. MAT monitoring and medication management continue within the program.
How long IOP lasts
Most clients complete IOP over 60 to 90 days, though the program adjusts to clinical need rather than a fixed calendar. Clients who are stable and progressing step down to standard outpatient after IOP. Clients who need more time stay in IOP longer.
