The Recovery Arc

Recovery isn't a moment. It's a return.

Day 1 to Year 1 — the same clinical team, the same number, the same care arc. Here's what that actually looks like.

The recovery arc A timeline from Day 1 through Year 1 with four key milestones along the journey. DAY 1 Admission DAY 30–40 Step down to IOP DAY 90 IOP & check-ins YEAR 1+ Alumni — for life
Where you'd be on Day 1

24/7 nursing, supervised detox, daily individual and group therapy. Your aftercare plan is drafted on Day 1 — not on the way out the door.

  1. Day 1 Admission · Residential

24/7 nursing, supervised detox, daily individual and group therapy. Your aftercare plan is drafted on Day 1 — not on the way out the door.

  2. Day 30–40 Step down to IOP

After 30 to 40 days of residential care, most clients step down to our Intensive Outpatient Program. The same clinical team follows you — you don't start over with strangers.

  3. Day 90 IOP & outpatient check-ins

IOP runs 45 to 90 days — three to five evenings per week. As IOP completes, periodic check-ins continue with your therapist. Real life is the program now.

  4. Year 1+ Alumni — for life

Weekly alumni meetings, sponsor matching, family programming, and a direct line back to your original clinical team. Same number, same humans, indefinitely.

We're here to help —
even when it's not us.

Our addiction specialists pick up the phone twenty-four hours a day. Call us and we'll talk through what you're facing — and help find the right treatment program for you or your loved one, even if that program isn't ours. No pressure. No obligation. Free, always.

We'd rather you land in the right place than land here. If the right place is us, we'll tell you. If it's somewhere else, we'll help you get there.

The Long Game

We don't disappear
at discharge.

Recovery isn't a 30-day program. It's the next 30 years. Our work begins at admission — but most of it happens after, in the months and years where most rehabs go silent.

    One phone number, forever

Whether it's day 7 or year 7 — the same admissions line, the same clinical team. If you relapse, we don't make you start over with strangers.

How It Works

From first call to first morning.

Most callers are admitted within 48 hours of the first conversation. The process is confidential, free to start, and led by people trained to make a hard moment feel manageable.

01

Confidential call

A 20-minute conversation. No insurance review yet, no commitment. We listen first and assess what care fits.

02

Insurance verified

We verify your Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial benefits and walk you through every cost — transparently.

03

Clinical assessment

A licensed clinician completes a biopsychosocial. Your plan of care is drafted before you arrive.

04

You arrive

Transportation coordinated if needed. The first 24 hours focus on medical stability and one thing: rest.

I didn't just get sober at Paramount.
I got my mornings back.
Common Questions

The questions most often asked.

Real questions, real answers. If you don't see yours here, call — our admissions team is trained for the hard ones.

Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. We are an in-network provider for Health First Colorado (Colorado Medicaid) across all program levels. For most members, treatment is fully covered with no out-of-pocket cost. We verify benefits before any commitment.
What if I have commercial insurance?
We are in-network with most major commercial carriers — Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, Kaiser, Humana, TRICARE — and work with most other plans on an out-of-network basis. Verification takes about 60 seconds and is free.
I don't have insurance. Can I still get treatment?
Yes. We offer transparent self-pay rates, sliding-scale options, and flexible payment plans. We can also help you check Medicaid eligibility — many people qualify and don't know it. Call us and we'll walk through it together.
How fast can I (or my loved one) be admitted?
Most callers are admitted within 24–48 hours of the first conversation. For acute cases — including detox — same-day admission is often possible.
Is the program confidential?
Absolutely. Your treatment is protected by HIPAA and by 42 CFR Part 2 — the strictest federal protections in the country for addiction records. We do not share information with employers, family, or anyone without your written consent.
Do you offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT)?
Yes. We provide buprenorphine, naltrexone, methadone coordination, and other FDA-approved medications where clinically indicated. MAT is one tool — never used in isolation, never withheld out of stigma.
What's the alumni program like?
Free for life. Weekly community meetings, sponsor matching, milestone celebrations, and a direct line back to your original clinical team. About 1,800 Paramount alumni are active in the community right now.
What if I relapse?
You call us. Same number, same team. Relapse is part of recovery for many people — not a reason to start over with strangers. We re-engage, adjust the care plan, and keep going.

The call you've been putting off
is the one that changes
everything.
