Parker has grown fast. Addiction has, too. We see clients from Parker every week.
Parker has grown from a small town to one of Douglas County’s largest communities over the past two decades. With that growth has come the substance use challenges that every growing Front Range community has faced — particularly opioid and alcohol use disorder, often within families that don’t expect it.
We serve Parker clients from our Aurora facility, about 25 minutes north via E-470 or Parker Road.
Why Parker residents come to Paramount
Discretion outside Douglas County. For many Parker clients, getting treatment outside Douglas County’s medical community is important for privacy. Treatment 25 minutes away gives that distance while keeping family programming and visits practical.
Commercial insurance fit. Most Parker clients have commercial insurance through their employers — Anthem, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare. We’re in-network with most. Coverage is typically strong.
Family programming designed for working parents. Many Parker clients have school-aged children. Family programming runs on evenings and weekends to accommodate working family schedules. Multi-family groups happen on Sunday afternoons.
Telehealth for outpatient when driving isn’t ideal. The drive from Parker can be 30+ minutes in traffic. For outpatient appointments and medication management, we offer telehealth so the time isn’t lost in the car.
Programs Parker clients use most
Residential, then step-down through IOP. For more severe cases, the path is typically 30 to 60 days residential at our Aurora facility, followed by IOP step-down where many clients use telehealth for some sessions and drive in for groups.
IOP from the start. For clients who need to maintain employment or family responsibilities, IOP three evenings per week works well. The drive from Parker is manageable for evening sessions.
Outpatient and medication management. For clients in stable recovery or stepping down from another facility, weekly outpatient and psychiatric medication management with full telehealth available.
